Awwww....

So forgot to put this last weekend when I got home from work, so here it is now. On Sunday I think it was a lady came in and was commenting on how great of a hike Avalanche was and thanking me for sending her. Then continued on w/ what made it an even "neater" experience for her. Apparently right as she got to the end of the trail where it opens up to the lake, a large family was there doing the picture thing. Then as individual families/couples etc. Well, the last couple, instead of saying cheese on the count of three, he dropped to knee and proposed instead. Kudos from me for awesome location. Ecstatic bride-to-be was showing everyone on the trail her ring lol.



And news this week......seeing people's faces when they come rushing into the VC to report a bear sighting is awesome. And when it's people that were charged their faces are priceless (although I'd probably have a priceless face, colored pants, and stink haha) Two ladies volunteering to do a loon count at backcountry lakes found themselves between mama griz and yearling. Not a good place to find yourself.
