Been quite some time since I've put anything on here....But last week I had one of the best laughs I've had in some time. One of our reps w/ work was visiting from out of town and was super intrigued that I had a tarantula. Noticed that her exoskeleton was still in the tank from when she molted and wanted to see it. While I had it out I commented that it'd be funny to put it on the boss' desk beings that he's petrified of spiders. Sooo......rep took it, placed it on the keyboard as you see in pic. Soon as boss rolled out the keyboard, it was scream, jump out of chair, run over to other side of room, and while attempting to catch breath yelling "get it outta here, get it outta here"(with plenty of 4-letters mixed in). Definitely a had-to-be-there moment, but I laughed 'til I cried and a week later I'm still chucklin.

"I've got gadgets and gizmos aplenty..."
So, for a long time now I've wanted to get a Digital SLR camera rather than just a basic. I miss everything about SLR, although it will take a while to remember everything that was second nature at one point. Well, I have a client/rep in town this week from San Diego and looky what I was surprised w/ as a thank you gift...
Will be taking him and his wife around Glacier over the weekend, so hopefully I can put it to use and get some decent shots off.

Bittersweet. . .
Another season at Glacier has wrapped up for me, way too early. I love being up there, so while not working it allows me to enjoy the actual park more, I already miss it.

North Fork Float
Time to hit the North Fork, and what's a river/creek trip w/out needing to hitch-hike back to rig...Amanda left the key to her car, on the front seat of my car 5 miles upstream. Nothin' more than a good laugh...
And we're off....
Starting place - nice view, ospreys fishing...ahhhhhh
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Anyone that knows me well, knows that this picture alone shows just how far I've come...
Lil' creepy to have clouds like that rolling in on ya, paddle hard time.
Hit more shallow stuff, time to just carry the kayak a ways.

Random sights
Here's just a couple random shots from the last month. Been too busy to keep this thing updated, but plenty on facebook.
They were just starting to bloom all around the lake, so was fun to get pictures
Lil' nook in the lake...
Headin' out on Spoon Lake for an easy evening paddle.
One of the circa 1925 Jammers that FDR rode across the Sun Road in. Back on the road for a recreation of his trip.
Starting out on the Middle Fork. Only got a few decent pictures before I flipped and camera was toast...
